| The Governance
Paper is the capstone project of the
MPM. The students undertake a public
policy or management study of a problem
faced by a client or decision-maker.
The Governance Paper links theory and
practice. Students apply the knowledge
(e.g., research methods or policy-analytic
procedures, economic theories, management
concepts), skills (critical thinking
skills, methods, techniques) and attitudes
(towards scientific inquiry, for example)
they have learnt throughout the program.
The School’s Leadership Framework
and its consequent commitment to social
justice are applied in the Governance
Paper by the consideration of social
values as a guide in formulating recommendations. |
